Elite Engineering Services is delighted to have been appointed M&E contractor for the construction of a purpose built, fully accessible Sixth Form and Community Centre in Halifax.
Working for the principle contractor, Esh Build, Elite will deliver a full design and install of all mechanical and electrical services. This will include heating, ventilation, air conditioning, sprinkler system, hot water, fire alarm, security systems, data, small power and gas works.
The new centre will be ready for the start of the 2018-19 academic year and Elite director, Dan Bowman, said:
“This is a very important scheme given the decade of careful thought, planning, consideration and need to provide such a facility in the Borough of Calderdale.
“It is our first contract for Esh Build and we look forward to building a long-term relationship with them through a successful, quality and on time installation at the Spring Hall site.”
As Calderdale’s only secondary special school, Ravenscliffe High School caters for people with a wide range of learning and physical disabilities. With the new centre being built adjacent an existing athletics track, it will provide exciting and innovative learning opportunities for up to 70 young people.
