Brief:

Working directly for the Academy our brief was to enhance the Sports Hall to National Sporting Events standard, design and project manage.

• The 4 week project included over-cladding internal roof with new strong aluminium cladding to enable the ability to append advertisement boards for large National Sports Competitions.
• Apply a durable and easy to clean finish to the walls to enable ease of maintenance.
• Working alongside our Group M&E company, Elite Engineering Services installed energy efficient lighting and heating.
• Fit ambient temperature ceiling mounted panels with central control unit controlled by the school’s building management control system.

Unique Aspects:

Working closely with the Principal and Estates Manager we developed the design and specification with the school to also fall within the school’s budget

The existing floor was a specialist sports hall flooring which was fully protected to withstand use of machinery and high level access platforms during construction activities.

Notable Achievements:

Completing the project on time and to budget within a very tight 4 week timescale which was carried out during the 6 week Summer break.
