Vickers Oil is a family run company which has been resident in Leeds for almost 140 years. They are a Worldwide market leader in the marine, textile and food grade manufacturing markets.

Brief:

We were proud to work alongside principal contractors, Briton (UK) Ltd, for the installation of a new complex laboratory and testing facility which was part of a large £3m expansion project.

The work involved a new extension to an existing office and warehouse, creating a new loading area, office space, laboratories and a new rooftop plant.

Integrating specialist laboratory technology into the Buildings Management Systems

Notable Achievements:

The project was finished in 2019 and completed within the agreed timescale of 10 months.

Due to the complex nature of the build we established a close working relationship with the management at Vickers Oil having negotiated Phase 3 works and ultimately awarded the Service and Maintenance contract through our colleagues at EMS
