Scope of project
The project involved the internal refurbishment of the kitchen and utility room, including full redecoration. The goal was to modernise these spaces and bring the property up to the correct standards for supported living. The kitchen was specifically designed for use by the site’s staff team.
Overview
The client, HF Trust, manages various properties for individuals requiring assisted living. In this case, the kitchen and utility room had been in place for over 20 years and were in need of a complete overhaul. The aim was to remove all existing kitchen cupboards and wall units, as well as those in the utility room, to create a modern and functional space with a fresh, updated look.
Work undertaken
- Removal of the old kitchen and utility areas, with all waste safely removed from the site.
- Removal and reconfiguration of old pipework, followed by the supply and installation of new pipework and electrics to ensure full compliance.
- Full replastering and redecoration of both areas in white, creating a bright and fresh appearance.
- Safe and responsible waste removal.
