
Facilities management and engineering services provider Elite Group has been acquired by healthcare construction specialist MTX Contracts Ltd.
The acquisition marks an exciting milestone for both companies to support both existing healthcare clients and the wider NHS estate.
The acquisition was completed on 28 November 2025, with Daniel Bowman, formerly Mechanical and Electrical Installations Contracts Director, appointed as Managing Director of Elite Group. Daniel has worked for Elite for more than 16 years.
With the NHS reporting a maintenance backlog valued at more than £16 billion, David Hartley, Managing Director of MTX Contracts Ltd says the combined capability of MTX and Elite presents a significant opportunity to support healthcare organisations in addressing critical estate requirements. The acquisition will allow both businesses to respond to increased demand, share expertise and drive sustainable long-term growth.
